It goes through every slot saying "check disk". Some are burned cd's but a couple are not. Is there any fix to this or am I just SOL?

What are some selling points of an A/T tire over a normal street tire? Obviously they are better offroad but I need some perks that a PARENT would like. I'll be needing new tires this coming winter and thankfully my mother is helping me out with this because I'm currently in school, I'm very grateful. Since SHE is buying them most likely she will want to get a good street tire, how can I persuade otherwise?

Wow, 30k in 95!

Figured my gas mileage last fill-up. Is this abnormal? The only thing I can think of that could possibly create problems is the fact I have no resonator, the pipe rusted from the OEM muffler so I just took it out. Could this be causing a problem with backpressure or what not?

I searched... could not find. Maybe if I was familiar with JDM

I want to see a pathfinder of our color heavily modified with a subframe drop/etc. Has yet to be done...
-
hmm, just an obvious solution but have you tried putting it in reverse to disengage?
-
they look awesome but I could never justify spending that much...
-
Mine do it as well.

does a cammed 3.5 sound pretty good?
-
If the light went off should I forget about it?
-
Could this have to do anything with the fact I put super unleaded into the 3.5 last fillup? Usually I put in the mid grade.

This past weekend I had the good old check engine light flash up, so today I got around to taking it to the autozone here. (free diagnostic) It read that my engine was "running too lean". He said this could either be caused by a crappy airflow sensor or a leak in the intake. What do you guys think? Later in the day the light turned off, not sure what to think.

not hatin on those wheels, but some black steelies would do wonders for the look of your truck overall
-
I gotcha, I believe that pipe is still intact. If I were to put on a flowmaster muffler or some other would I take take out the whole muffler or could it be attached where the resonator was?
-
looks good 98path, I'll have to slip some black wheels on mine soon

I just saw this post, I only took the part that had rusted off (the alternator and the pipe that leads to the joint where it was rusted at). Is there still more than that that needs to come off? I notice a slight vibration sound when I give full throttle so maybe that's still tied to the original problem.
-
ya the "second" muffler had rusted at the pipe connection to the actual muffler, just took it out. This doesn't cause any problems with back pressure does it? I don't know if I was just being paranoid but it feels like my acceleration has been dampered since.

does this change the exhaust tone?
-
02silverpathy, wish they had made a truck like that with the pathfinder front end like your av!

Well found the source of the problem today.. loose muffler! Muffler is loose enough that it is clanking every time the vehicle shifts directions. Would you guys guess it's a rusted mount or just a bolt fell out? I have no tools on campus so I will have to take it to a shop regardless... hopefully it's a really cheap fix.
-
Well I guess I'll add that it has gotten to a constant point now. Every bump or even turn and it clanks for a few times. Also today I noticed a deeper murmur coming from the exhaust, muffler trouble? Darnit it's only been 2k miles since I bought and these problems are already hitting me! Ha.

Just had this problem start up within the last week after taking the pathfinder to get an oil change. (Might add my breaks started squeaking just the day after- the result of something then did to test them?) When I go over changes in road height like exiting a parking lot or driveway I hear a clunking sound. Seems to be coming from the front. I understand this could be the control arms or shocks? How much would I be looking at to have a shop fix this, and is it needed? Maybe it's time for some ac coils edit: Might also be helpful to mention it's an 04 with only 49k miles

I think nicoclub is a better home for you..

nicoclub seems like most of the guys there are into putting 20" rims on their pathfinders and gaying them up though haha
