I think the belhousing on the 3.3 is removable I wonder if its a direct bolt up

Its a 99.5 but it still has the 3.3L not the 3.5

I have a 99.5 pathfinder 4x4 and the transmission is on its way out I have found a 96 pathfinder transmisison and a 2002 pathfinder transmission? What is the differance? Will they both fit?

yes, my throttle cabble / gas pedal has some play in it. May as much as 4-5mm how would this cause that code?

I'm still having this problem. transmission shifts fine it just will NOT downshift if i floor the gas I have replaced the pnp switch, Dose not seem to make any difference. it still kicks the light on for code P0705 :-( I have found this in the fsm. what dose this sensor do? would it throw this same code p0705 if this went bad?

wow i have the exact same problem. However my back up lights work just fine. NO overdrive i push the button and nothing. next question is dose anyone have a know good sensor they want to sell i can replace mine with?

yes ops i mean what you said its code p0705 yes. ok great ill go look it up in the service manual. is there somewhere online where i can download the fsm? btw thank you very much

I have a 1999.5 2000 Nissan pathfinder 4x4 automatic re4r01a I have a check engine light on for a transmission range sensor or code P0507 has anyone else had this problem. Also my transmission re4r01a will down shift when I fully floor the gas pedal. I think it may have something to do with the neutral safety switch also I don't have any overdrive when i push the button on the shifter. has anyone had this happen to them or know about it?

I have changed the oil still same problem, trans oil and front dif oils. I did download the fsm offline looks very complex. Is there a scantool I can use to pull codes from the TCM or dose it have its own onboard dia system?

Yes i have tryed this. I have read the full owners manual. I have put it in reverse and drive backwords several feet still dosent go into 2 wheel drive. The 4x4 switch inside the cab seems to be beeping as it trys to engauge.

So my 2001 pathfinder is stuck in 4x4, it goes into awd 4wd and 4low just fine. It will not engauge into 2x4 for some reason, selection button flashes anyone ever herd of this or had it happen?? its automatic 4x4........

So I have ordered new pistons, bearings, rings, and wrist pins. I am looking for engine torque spec's for the bottem end. As well as plastic gauge spec's I can't seem to find them in the FSM other wise i wouldnt be asking. thanks

So I put it in self dia mode here are my codes 12 34 51 23 45 Ive ordered a knock sensor but it would be cool if that wasn't the case. Ya if someone could PM me a download able FSM that would be cool I got this suv from kind of a shady guy i have no idea of the T belt has ever bin done i might as well do it. Dose the FSM have instructions on this? I will check timing and see what happens, Mean wile i want to know what you guys think in response to these codes if its something specific thank you.
