Hi guys, just recently pulled this code off my ecu... Looked up what egr was, by am still un aware of exactly what it does, or what it's function is, or it's importance in operation If someone could explain it clearly, and tell me what I should do would be nice thanks!

yo yesterday mid day, probably had been driving an our beforehand... was a red light turning left into a merg lane onto the free way, i accelerated to 25km/h, was midway through the turn at the intersection then cablunk.. will try to describe the sound... "a crunched up popcan stuck in the spoke of a bike tire and constant banging" - somthing like that. i also felt a subtle abnormal vibration. so me and my freind we continued for a few seconds to get onto the straight away and pull onto the grass beside the road, as i stopped the sound stopped, the engine was still running good. turned it off, me and my freind analyzed the engine bay, nothing abnormal, analyzed it reving up, all good. looked under the truck, nothing out of the ordinary, looking in the wheels to see if anything was jammed, nothing. looked on the road, actually found a... meatcleaver? but that couldnt have anything to do with my truck or thered be some noticable damage. so we got back into into my truck, pulled onto the road and continued onto the freeway doing 80km/h everything felt really good, the sound and vibration was gone. now im wondering if there was some mechanical fskc up or somthing, i was thinking maybe a belt blew? but all the belts were in place.... anyone got ideas?

i get a really awfully sounding banging sound when always when turning the wheels all the way in one direction going in reverse and sometimes while moving forward.... it does not sound good, anyone know what the problem is, how bad it is, what to do?

exhaust work on hold... shop checked out under the pathy and decided they wanted tripple because the cat is mangled in a bunch of corners and up and downs and stuff, and they also said theyd have to change the piping to 2.25 to match my muffler for a gran total of 600 so i said fskc it, however if funds do come by, id really want to get that cat removed.

No law in canada as far as i know, atleast not in alberta my province

alright cool, they are taking off the cat while there at it as well... actually that was the point of this, and then i decided id like a nicely sounding muffler.

well if it is 2" they should be able to make it work cause 2.25 is as small as they go.... also got the super 40 witch flow master says"gives the best performance to higher horsepower vehicles." since they were out of the original 40....

Flowmaster 40 series.. now do i need just center in center out? or some sort of offset? i bought center in center out and getting it put in Saturday.... just wondering if i need to go exchange for an offset? also 2.25 inch is the stock exhaust right?

so yeh my ecu has been giving me the check engine for months, finally got around to diognosing it myself, got code "33" for heated oxygen sensor, is this the same as the 02 sensor we say on the forums? if so then im pretty sure that would be causing my fuel economic problem, now i need to know how to fix it... is there any guides on changing the 02 sensor?

cleaned my MAF today, looked clean, but i noticed much smoother acceleration and idle thanks!

mix, first about 100km was traveling avg 100km/h and the other 133 km would be general 50/50 mix and this is BABY DRIVING travelling in 5th gear as much as i possibly could....

thought id post this in here, as first time kinda monitoring my milage. picture odom states kilometers. gauge is just below half and ive gone 233 km/144 miles soooooo..... is my milage being decent so far? without doing math calculation, and feeling the weight of my wallet have last fill up, it seems pretty bad.

well without going to check my odom, i believe the belt was changed at 180k in 2004 by previous owner and now have 266k in 2010 meaning i have put 86 k on it, think the belt was changed a little earlier like 170ish kms tho. Today actually is my 16th birthday and i just got my license, bought the truck 3-4ish months ago, just been driving with parents. im surely poor and happy to have my parents paying insurance. is the belt good to go to the recommended change at 160 k km's on it? that would give me probably 3 more years of driving.

yeah thats what i thought, so there is no specific amount of years to go in between belt changes? just milage? i always thought it was 160k km/4 years

just got my safety inspection done, and my belt has been in for 6 years and the rubber belts suppose to change every 4/160k km? right but the mechanic i was talking to and who did the safety says he also owns a 1995 pathfinder and says that the timing belt is metal, and to not worry about it until it starts making noises.... What my timing belt is metal? anyone else have any input on this??

What is the on position?????? im puzzled or what? toggle switch? i dont have oneeee as far as i know. i have a 95 pathfinder XE

apparently cats do cause smelly exhaust, i would get it replaced

id say a max load of 4000lbs speculation ideally 3000 lbs
