2014 pathfinder vs 2014 kia sorento
petespath replied to bushnut's topic in 2013-Present R52 Pathfinders
A good set of MT's would help. -
Hi I got the bolts loose but the outer tie rod will not move.
-
anyone ever removed the grease fitting on the drive shaft, mine is no longer taking grease, not sure if it is worth while to even look into but I thought I would ask the group.
-
Well I have ruined a good pair of tires. Not sure the issue is extreme camber or toe in, but the front tires are both worn on the inside edge. What is the cause, just an alignment issue, or inner and outer tie rods? Thanks Pete.

My day time running lights do not work, looking for possible causes and solutions to check for.

A little maintenance sometimes forgotten
petespath replied to BowTied's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
any more details on this repair, after checking the link on this topic they refer to a "clip" when I pulled the glove box and trim I did not see any clip on the plastic box that holds the filters. also when you cut the plastic open I was just thinking of resealing it with black electrical tape. and checking the filters a few times a year. -
did I see one photo with your side step rails still on?

is there any posts on replacing the inner and outer bearing for a 2000 pathfinder.
-
should you replace the MAF if you have no blown codes , I am trying to get better gas mileage and was thinking of replacing mine. I do go off road and it could be dirty.

Pretty much the end of the Pathfinder
petespath replied to AZ_Pathfinder's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
they have the frontier, titan and xterra, the pathfinder would just cut into nissan sales if they did not change it. -
getting close to 300,000 kms. (280,000kms)

so this is what I think I should get: crager soft 8, part # 260-3977760, 16x7, 6 x 5.5, rear spacing 4" jegs price $66.00
-
I checked their website (crager) the back space is 4... will that make the tire stick out too far and cause rubbing?
-
I can't find any 16" x 7 steelies , approx 5.5 back space give or take an inch. Can you advise a store that I should try or a website that I could show the store that these rims actually exist.

All of the above except for unbalanced wheel. The strut is just weeping its not a bad leak. How long do you think it will last?
-
put new struts on just over a year ago, one is leaking, is there a warranty on this type of part or am I screwed?
-
241,000 kms. no engine or tranny problem, truck will rust out before the engine or tran. will die.

Hey guys thanks for your help, with a 2 hour break, I wrapped a rag around the hose got out some beefy pliers and a new filter is on. It seems every job I do takes 3-4 hours.
-
well I am trying this and it is not going well. the bracket is rusted out; I will need a new one, and the screw also snaped upon removal. my main problem... the fuel lines will not come off the filter. after reading the post I tried WD40 but it does not penetrate inside the line???? tried pliers and nothing. The lines don't even budge.
-
anti seize on the top half of the plug threads only.
-
the job is finaly done. adam thanks for the link to other nissan site. to do this job you will need a "flexible" socket wrench. add one more tool to my inventory.
-
well the boot finaly came free, the back of my hand is very sore, however the plug is still in. no matter what tool, socket, wrench, knuckle, extension used, there is no room. on to plan B
-
The problem is the spark plug boot will not come off of the spark plug. I am doing damage to my hand trying to get a grip on it.
