I have the same noise and i have no idea what it is either. It did it before and after i did my breaks so its not that and i did change the hubs to warns but it does it in 4 wheel and 2 wheel.... i dunno, i cant usually hear it over my massive exhaust leak, so when something breaks ill fix it. lol

Have you any idea where to get the hardware required to mount a hi-lift on the rear tire-carrier or any pics of one of these mounting systems so that i could build one?

my bfg a/t's are 35 psi max and i run 'em just a little lower, about 30.

Wow let the poor guy mourn his pathfinder before you vultures get your hands on it, and i got dibs on the dash dimmer switch. lol Sorry about the accident man, been there done that twice with my first '95, the last accident made it a write off, but i went out with my big insurance settlement and bought another one. Even without airbags i think its one of the safest suv's out there.

I am working on doing the same thing, take out the carpet for some kind of liner, and i was wondering for those who have done this already, what did you do with all the wiring thats under the carpet that runs along the edges of the doors and under the seats. I don't exactly want to encase it in a manner that makes it unaccessable if i want to change something. Also what did you do to prevent water from getting underneath the liner and what do you do if it does get under? I could devise my own ideas but im curious to see what others have tried.

I have a 95 that does not have a stock roof rack rail assembly and I was wondering what might be a good solution to this problem. I want to put lights on the roof basically with as few holes as possible. Seeing as how most after-market systems require a gutter to attach to, there are not many options. Any ideas.

I haven't done any formal pricing cuz i get metal here and there, I do most of the cutting and shaping myself or i have friends that can, plus i know a guy that will weld stuff cheep for me, so thus far i have only spent about $200 but i dont know the total yet.

The design of this bumper uses sheet metal over an internal 1” square tubular steel frame, though using thicker sheet metal on the exterior could eliminate the need for the internal frame. Do to my own needs and the availability of cash and tools I opted for a frame. These are the over all dimensions of the bumper viewed from the front and top. All measurements are in inches. These are the dimensions of each of the individual external sheet metal parts. This design is far easier to appreciate in the 3D modelling program Rhinoceros 3D, which I used to create it. If anyone is interested in actually seeing this in 3D, there is a free trial version that will allow you to view the model. I have created full computer generated design plans for a '95 pathy front bumper that i am now working on building. this is an unrefined render of the design if you interested in more detailed plans. It has a winch mount built in and it incorperates indicator lights(does not use origional bumper indicators) the only detail missing is the specs for the new mounting brackets it will require. I will be designing a rear bumper as well but I'm not sure what style yet. I also have designed rock slider bars if your interested, I haven't attempted to build those yet though.

Pathfinders are totally worth it. Very dependable vehicles, I wouldn't buy anything else, even when i had the chance to when my first pathfinder was totalled in an accident , I went out and bought another '95.(By the way also a safe vehicle in an accident, for the family orientated out there.) I use the excellent off-road capabilities all the time, almost every weekend, got plenty of pictures and video to prove it. The size of this SUV is what makes it special, its shorter wheel base will allow for better maneuverability and reduce high-centering. Remembering that lift is only as good as the height of your difs and the amount of articulation that is achieved, this vehicle does not require much more than 3" of lift and 31" tires to greatly improve the already great stock performance. Doing these two things is also rather in expensive as it does not require a lot of mechanical alterations especially the expensive ones to the drive train.

ok i just bought another pathfinder and this one had the e-brake light turn on with the battery light but it was only on breifly the went out again. It did that a couple times today so does this mean my altinator is failing?
