So I thought that all 95 pathfinders came with the stock option for 31's...but I guess I was wrong... I just put 31"s on my pathfinder and it rub on the front and the back... But thats not the big deal... I took care of that....Kind of... So I took it on a trail and when I was done driving home I felt my steering was really weird..and the front tires make a squeling sound???? And if I let go of the wheel it shoots left to right... Is this a simple alignment issue or something worse?? I took a look at the idler arm and it does'nt look screwed up at all. Could use some help Thanks...

Ok... I have a 95 XE... It did'nt come with a external spare tire carrier on the back and I would like to put one on... I've been getiing some yes's and some no's.. Does anyone know for sure if this truck has the reinforcement to hold one of those or any suggestions on how to find out.... Except for the hard way

Hey Slick.. since your in CA maybe you can help me with this... Do you have headers and if so which ones...I've been looking and some say they won't meet the CA emissions req... And some don't say anything about it... The thorleys seem to be the popular item but will i have any issues with emissions

I had a very similar problem(maybe not so severe) when I bought my 95... The shift into 2nd seemed a bit rough to me and I thought maybe its just cause I've been driving a 5 spd for so long I've forgotten how autos work.. and on the highway going 70-75 my RPM's were at about 5500...NOT GOOD So I took it to a tranny specialist and all it turned out to be for me was my cruise control cable clip was off set..and it screwed up the vacuum.... A very simple fix... Hopefully very simple for you too.. Hope this helps

Just bought a 95 XE.. One owner with 127,000 miles.. Got it for a very decent price with all the room for improvements.. So I'm now obsessed with finding out about them Everything is stock, and if I were a betten man I'd put my money on, NEVER been off road.. Always been amazed with Nissans ability off road..... Looking forward to trickin a few things out and joining the rest of the Pathy Pack where only nature has gone before... P.S. For anyone joing behind me of ahead of me... Just want to say I've already spent some time on the forums and posted a few topics and all that have re-posted really know there stuff ... Thanks for all the help and happy trails to all.....

I've learned more by just posting this question than all my research and reading on the internet... All seems to be vital info to get my Pathy where I want it to be... \\\From what I'm hearing a 3" lift is possibly a bad idea So I think I'll just stick to upgrades in the suspension and steering  Anyway got a friend of a friend who owns a muffler shop so looking forward to them trickin the exhaust out right... And I'll definately take this advice to them But in the meantime I'll keep up my research here for the tricks of the Pathfinder -study- P.S In LA Slick.. how about you?

Thanks for the ideas on the cost.. I'm also in CA so it sounds about right... This is gonna get expensive....But well worth it I'm sure

what is it that can be adjusted to raise or lower the front end of these pahtfinders...and is it even possible with the XE model?

Any ideas on how to gain some more horsepower with out spending too much money?
