So are all of the intakes out there for the R50's just a filter after the MAF? If they are, how the heck do these companies get off charging 200 bucks for them... I was looking at the jim wolf, HKS, and weapon R. I'm leaning towards the jim wolf just because it's a K&N filter, but just a filter isn't worth over 100 bucks to me. I'm used to finding intakes that replace all of the factory junk.

ya, I'm going to bolt up the SE fenders up front and I can make the holes in the back so it won't look stupid having the flares just in the front. Thanks guys.

ok, I need new fenders. Are the metal fenders on the SE's the same as the XE's with just some better looking flares on them or are they different? I know the bolt patterns are the same but I'm thinking the metal underneath may actually flare out also whereas the xe ones are straight with the ugly chrome stickers. The only reason I ask is I'm going to order some used fenders and I can't tell from the pics and the rear fenders are a real pita. SO, if I can get the fronts and just buy a set of the SE flares for the rear I'll be rockin. My XE is a real pos...I should post up pics once I can get back into my ftp.

ya, it's got the mast antenna. But it also has the windshield antenna too. I have one of the wonderful two antenna stereos in there I guess.

Just curious, what is the line that goes down the middle of my windshield and then goes across the bottom of the driver's side glass? I was thinking it was a heater, but it never gets warm when the defroster is on. I also think it's aftermarket glass. It doesn't say nissan on it.

Sounds more like a CV joint than hub issues there.

I like the diagrams in the fsm. In my other cars the chilton version was worthless and the fsm was like the holy grail. I'll check out the pathfinder book to see if it's any better than its american counterparts.

actually, the races are destroyed on my hubs. So I need new ones.

OK, I'm confused. When you order hubs from the factory, it looks like they come with the entire spindle hub. ie..wheel bearings and the thing that holds your wheel studs. From the pics of the warn install, they are just the center piece correct? I guess that doesn't really solve my problem.

ok, my hubs and bearings are shot. The guy I bought this pathy from didn't know what grease was. The junkyard says I can only use hubs from 1/98 and up on my 98 pathy. Is this true? I'm half tempted to pick up a set of warn hubs, but I spend my winters driving on ice and it would really be inconvenient to stop every time I had to throw the truck in 4 hi. EDIT: would it be a bad thing to run around with the warn hubs locked all winter?
