  1. 02 gsxr telephonica. I ride about 10k a year and love two wheeling more than 4wheeling. This is my 5th bike and I'm in love with it. Good post!
  2. just keep me in mind slick. thanks. And the complaint about the money is that I am a mechanic so I know tips and tricks for finding cheap yet good quality parts. Oh yeah............. And I am broke!!!! I do need to get this done within the next couple of weeks.
  3. AMATEURS. Give this to the next girl you meet that wants your phone number....... 1-703-912-1725 The best and the worst thing you can do to a person. Don't worry it's not vulgar.
  4. Got a 95 xe with automatic trans. Need a replacement trans. Help!!!!! The cheapest I have found so far has been 1100 bones!! I think we can do better here guys (and gals) don't you? THANKS A TON!!
  5. hey guys I am replacing the shift solenoid in the tranny (1995 auto) and I need a diagram for the spring locations (there are three of them) and a fluid disc that came out when I removed the piece. ( it got **** eyed and they fell before I could visually map em) anyway, I need a couple of assembly diagrams and YES I performed the search function here. I can get all of this info at a dealership but I need it asap. Thanks guys.
  6. stupid non working vid program crap shtuff. anyway, helluvan idea.
  7. if you use the "blue tip wrench," heat the surrounding metal, not the bolt itself. Metal expands when heated, and inversly, retracts when cooled. hth
  8. moog is a very well known company for a reason...... If you are worried about being able to rebuild something then you must be serious about the abuse you are going to be putting your rig through........
  9. !!!Man I hope you're wearing a glove!!!!! By the way.......... where is you other hand?!!!!
  10. Ladies and Gentlemen. I may be repremanded for this, however, an engine is an engine. They all work the same and have the same goal. It doesn't matter who originally made it. One other thing.......... 'dreams are not bought; they are built...' With a small block you would have unprecidented power to push around the finder, bottom line. Manufacturor or not. All vehicles suck! They will invariably break at the most inoportune time, no matter the make. The VG30 is an underpowered RUNT of an engine, but do I love mine? YUP! Also love my 67 camaro that has 418hp out of a small block, that also gives me problems occaisionally. Do what you gotta do and if you do it differently, then more power to ya cause you are "making" it yours. just my .02
  11. Mountain Dew Coors Light, Yuengling White Russian .............anything if its....... FREE!!!
  12. AARRgghhhh................. *FART*.......... AAAaahhhh....
  13. um.... suv here..... not a sports car. Agreed with 88.
  14. Ebay!!!!! The only way to fly when it comes to finding deals........... Just a plug more or less. Just find what you like and what suits your needs then.......... EBAY! Good luck.
  15. I look at it this way; a vehicle is worth something to its owner whether that be a lot or not. Some folks put more worth in a honda civic than they would a Hummer H2 simply because of what they use their vehicle for. I bought my rig for $800 and personnally wouldn't sell it unless someone offered me thousands! I use it for what it is intended for and more! I love it. However, I love my Monte Carlo SS. So it's all about value to owner. If you are buying a vehicle as an investment. Go old or go luxury. No other way around it. just my .02
  16. Z, it's not a pre-runner, it's called a bull bar. Note, it mount from under the bumper (frame) and then curls up. Usually, unless custom made or very expensive, pre runner bars just mount to the bumper itself. Prerunner guards are mainly for very light branches and protection for aft market lights. they look cool as hell though.
  17. have it. Usually I roll with windows down but when I am on the phone or have a female with me I turn it on. I recently serviced it and after 12 years it was still damn near fully charged and good to go.
  18. fab work is always good! lol I love making shhtuf even if I never need it.
  19. Agreed with 88. I actually cut the oval tie down points off with a torch and ground down that entire area. I have a 02 xterra hitch so those needed to go to fit the hitch anyway. Use the hitch. It's a stronger more central area to begin with.

 Ha!! That'll be the day! Anyway, to hell with liberal ignorant bipeds..... Those are the bleeding heart type of people that would never really take a stand on any matter mainly because they don't even know what the hell they really believe in.... that's why they are "open to everyone's diversity and beliefs" BLAH  This country was founded with blood and with blood it will be defended and the Good Lord is the only One who can save us. IN my opinion, liberals should just move to france, since they don't seem to like violence either..............
  21. question is... how did you mount them?? if you used the typicaly 3m tape... ditch that idea. you need to use some small sheet metal screws and make them a permanent item if you wish to keep them. If you are in the wilds a lot then you will need em. If you arent', then take the damn things off. Show a pic for some better answers if you can. hth
  22. I was just curious as to what you guys have added to the interiors of your rigs to make em more suitable for what you have the truck for....... I wish I could post pics but I am about as computer literate as snoop dog at a spelling bee for archaeology. So heres my list, mind you all of my installs are discreet and professional as I am an auto tech and perfectionist and conveince minded person. 1000 watt power inverter mounted in the rear compartment. midland 1001 cb mounted just below the custom sony head unit. also have an external speak for the cb hidden 4 D cell mag light mounted to the headliner just behind the dome light (all color matched) hidden handgun pocket beside the center console full custom stereo with two 12's (rockford) Power distribution grid in the cargo area for any dc current needed things custom box that holds tools, spare parts. etc... that is easily removed and light weight. future plans. racks that will hold spare cargo, guns, or other items that need to be tucked away. Full tint job just to keep cool in the summer and avoid some prying eyes. hidden air compressor and working on a first aid kit that will be integrated like the newer Xtterra's. Also working a compartment for a 72 hour kit just in case something ever happens while I am out in the wild or need to be on the road immediately.
