  1. Yes but some ppl will goto extremes. Under agers could siphon it out of there tanks at partys and add coke to it or something, lol, then you would have to be 21 to drive and buy gas, and have the key to gas door on their parents cars.
  2. Not really. And according to Wikipedia
  3. Dont forget that beer will aslo go up in price, since thats what E85 is, it has 15% gas to stop ppl from drinking it. And think I said something about this in the POHO, do something about gas here and it will screw companys like OPEC who have been screwing us.
  4. I tell everybody to stay away from strangers, they always end up dead.
  5. Everybody knows what a stranger is, and even if you didnt it shouldve registered with pics of one in this thread. Its the internet. But I did f that all up. I dont know, shouldnt really matter, all that does is that the Ranger hit the Excurison. You're the expert. And I was just stating what my buddy ended up with.
  6. Yeah he could probably leave them on if he had a lift, just let the entire front axle drop down onto a tranny jack and secure it, but if he does it in his driveway he will need the room, but he could still just unbolt the CV's from the flanges. My driver side CV is destroyed, I mean total failure and the bolts that hold the CV's to the flanges are seized tight and so are the hub bolts, so I just dropped it all and dragged it out of the way on a flat dolly.
  7. Yes Story time I just got down doing a motor swap on mine, I tried everything to avoid removing the aforementioned parts but nothing worked, if I could have removed the oil pan I probably couldve taken the motor out w/o axle removal. Wait for some input I could be wrong.
  8. The front axle and suspension. Entire axle including 3rd and CV's, LCA's, torsion bars, front axle cross member, shocks, sway bar.
  9. whats not to know? -My buddy had a Ford Ranger similair to the one Lovebunny had -My buddy was driving in my town (not important but ironic), early in the morning -He fell asleep (Because it was early in morning) -He veered into traffic (because he fell asleep) -He hit a Honda (because he veered into oncoming traffic (because he fell asleep at the wheel)) -After he hit the Honda the truck rolled over -The truck slid down the road and hit a Ford Excursion -He now drives a K1500 (which mister expert should know is a 4x4 1/2 ton chevy (since lovebunny was talking about what vehicle hes getting next)) Some fun facts.... Honda Motor Company Excursion Ford Ranger (AKA: Stranger) Chevy C/K
  10. Good question, I had to have a 20 ton winch pull me out of the drink one night and im stock.
  11. their probably just duece and half axles, 2.5 rockwells, the ones i posted are I dont even know if Danas have square tubes or a pinion like the rocks
  12. My buddy had the same stranger, around 5am one morning he was drivining home and happened to be about a mile away from me, he fell asleep at the wheel and veered into oncoming traffic, hit a small honda and rolled into an excursion, hes ok though and now drives a k1500. Glad youre ok.
  13. You need to take a road trip to Central Florida, youll see what function it serves.
  14. The mother fing Countrywide home loans, STFU ALREADY.
  15. Edit: For everybody not knowing what I meant, the axle in front is a non steer axle, compare the pic that red posted to that one and you will see that the front axle on the 4runner is a steer axle, although he may not have the steering hooked up or maybe has a ram behind the axle.
  16. Just post some pics, and send us some for tasteing
  17. Ive become really good at taking them off with 2 screw drivers and most of time destroying enough to make them unusable, then finding the snap ring pliyers as i cuss and throw stuff around.
  18. Isnt there a pruge vavle on the intake manifold, up on top? Slick posted a pic to help me out one day, she called it a burper thingy. edit: On the back driver side.
  19. Apperantly the Mazda MPV used the same tranny, my dad works at Mazda and there happens to be a guy who rebuilds them there too, and my dad knows the people they take their cars to for that kinda work, talk about a lucky break. And Phil, when I started the motor for the first time, we forgot to hook the tranny lines up, kinda shot fluid all over my driveway, so we unhooked them again and got nothing.
  20. the pump is gone, no fluid at all coming out of the tranny lines, in any gear at any RPM.
  21. Its an auto, the connections all work, I saw them move with a buddy moving the shfiter from inside.
  22. Checked the case, tried it every setting, never unhooked the rear shaft.
  23. So I just got done with the motor swap, went to pull it out of the garage, reverse, nothing, drive, nothing, 1st and 2nd, nothing, the tranny cant be toast yet, it appears that it was replaced at a 97k and I have 162 on it now, ive had a tranny cooler since the day I got it. The torque converter is hooked up the tranny is moving fluid and its full up on that. But the good news is the motor runs like a dream and I now have an e-fan. and in other news, im an idiot and put this in the wrong forum, and i cant spell

    VG30-VG33 Swap

Yes the accersories will mount up, but you either need to have you 3.3 crank machined to accept the crank pully from the 3.0 or use the 3.0 crank. And just to say it again, use the injection and intake from the 3.0 to elimante the need to swap over the 3.3 harness and ECU.
