  2. What were they toting GG? No references anywhere (that I can find) suggests the two petty criminals were armed. What is clear is that the pretty crims were trying to get away, just as Joe Horn said on the tape (transcript here). Even more clear is that the petty criminals weren't on Joe Horn's property at all. He chased them down and shot them in the back from 15 foot away. What a hero!
  3. Still smoking B. Shame on you. Though your story is relevant to you, it isn't relevant to what happened in this case. Joe Horn (murderer) was tucked safely away in his house peeping through a window. He was unseen and safe. How do we know he was unseen. The two petty criminals would not have broken into the house in the first place had they noticed someone watching them. He was told not to go out of the house 19 times. He predicted he will kill and did exactly that. He shot two petty criminals in the back like a lowly, gutless coward. That's actually what he is, A COWARD. He shot them on his neighbours front lawn. Neighbours he readily admits to not knowing. His story now is that the neighbours asked him to look after their property. Would you ask someone you don't know to care for you gear? I think not. Ever broken the speed limit or "J" walked B? Worth a bullet in the back? Let John Horn decide and you're a dead man.
  4. Stop making sense 88. There is no place for it in this thread.
  5. A couple of points need to be made here. My surname is "Anderson" so think again before you generalise. The next point is your grasp of history. Europe sent convicts here? That's a new one, when did they do that? Some advise if I may... Don't say that out loud, people might think you to be uneducated. We want to be the most hated country on Earth too now! When did we say that? Europe, we sound like we are European? Is that Spanish, Croatian, German, Italian, what? Don't look to hard. It makes no difference anyway does it? That's what hey were doing wasn't it? A job. You did say "their line of work".
  6. The guy is an American hero.. No need to wonder why the rest of the world views Americans the way they do, just take a long hard look at yourselves.
  7. So it is legal in (as far as I can ascertain, backward yee haa, good ol' boys, redneck central) Texas to disobey a lawful command? It is legal to tell that officer that you are going to kill someone and then minutes later do exactly that? He could have made some money too if the law enforcer on the other end of the phone took him up on the "wanna make a bet" statement. Nah, that sick b(a)stard needs to get the needle. He shot two people in cold blood, premeditatedly and IN THE BACK! Not two people coming toward him or even threatening him. Not to mention, he shot them on his neighbours front lawn, not his.
  8. No, it is about control. Take Switzerland from your example.
  9. That's a relief. For a second there I thought you were a "nut job". So I don't really need a gun with me if I were to rob your place after all? I can just use what you have laying around the house against you.
  10. Nothing better than living in fear GG. May I ask what it is you are afraid of? I seem to recall a person (here on the board) saying that I was a "nut job" and "thought the world was out to get me" and other... well crazy nonsensical rantings... Why? Because world events interest me, that's why.... Let me see if I can quote the author directly.... Ah, here we go... "So should we just personally attack V6 in every thread he posts until they get locked, he gets pissed, and goes back to hiding in the basement with a tinfoil hat? I mean seriously, he is a delusional nutjob who thinks the rest of the world is out to get him (granted there probably are a few). Like ZB said, I get enough "real life/ world events" otherwise, I'm here to socialize and share Pathy knowledge. It's sad that some people have to be so worked up and live in fear that they can't enjoy life." I wonder what the author of that would say about you after reading about what can only be describe as... well, how do you describe what you wrote? Nice mirror by the way.
  11. You're right. I just couldn't bring myself to spell it like that.
  12. So, is he a criminal or a law abiding citizen? He certainly had no business going out side of the house. He was never in any danger and certainly was not threatened. The law enforcement officer on the phone told him numerous times to stay indoors. He even made the point that property isn't worth killing anyone over. All on tape.. I am going to kill them he said... Cocks the gun and says "did you hear that" and out he went, Elmer Fudd off to hunt rabbits. Your dead, bang, bang... that was the warning. Mr. Horn, law abiding citizen, could not wait to try out his " it is not illegal to have a shot gun". Two counts of life in prison coming right up for that sicko. That's what you get over there for premeditated murder isn't it. Perhaps next time petty criminals enter that area they will be smart enough to have their own guns. Nice post unccpathfinder.
  13. I'd only visit you place armed to the teeth. That way I'd have a better chance at taking you stuff. And if I heard one little noise I would let loose my arsenal in that direction. That way I am assured I will not be shot or stabbed.
  14. My guess is that it would over heat pretty quickly and I'd hate to change a spark plug.
  15. You don't trust your elected Government?
  16. I think I read his post wrong. I assumed the low range he talked about to be that of the TC.
  17. That is a startling revelation 88, though not really surprising given the Nissan engine is so underpowered. Time for an engine swap by the sounds of it. A 4.0ltr Buick V6 will have you climbing mountains effortlessly.
  18. Besides you contradictory view on seat belts etc. you missed the point by a huge margin. That point being..... that we do not live in a Utopian world. I am not perfect. You are not perfect. Yes, we should be smart enough to wear our safety gear but the fact is, we are not. Rules and guidelines... even monkeys have them. We are just that little bit smarter and make laws too.
  19. Don't ask me the question if you are going to answer it. I fail to see where the unfair generalisation is. What part of that isn't true?
  20. To quote Homer Simpson.... BEER...... slurp slurp
  21. Death on roads isn't small. It costs the community and country mega $$$$$$$. It puts unnecessary strain on services too. Especially if you don't die and are permanently disabled. The risks you want to take are great mz. That link I sent you should qualify that point, though a different issue. Look at some stats and you'll be shocked at what the road toll does cost. Economics, keeping people alive saves money. Socially, keeping people intact saves money. I am not saying forget our boys fighting the fight of illegitimate reason on behalf of war criminals in our countries. Our boys are coming home next year; problem solved. Tell me, do car makers have to comply with laws as to how a car is made? Brakes, for example, are a very handy idea and I am certain, though I love driving fast as sw can attest to, car makers and even car owners must have them by law. We all have laws (guidelines or rules if you will) that need to be observed. It is for "all" our safety and benefit that we follow these as closely as possible so that anarchy and carnage doesn't happen. I can not see why gun ownership is somehow exempt from laws that are designed to protect the majority. Especially when most everything you use and do is governed by a rule, guideline or law already. From the time you are born (birth certificate) till the time you die (death certificate) laws are in place. Get use to it I say. Ban weapons that are designed to kill as many people as possible in the shortest time possible. What legitimate reasons could anyone have to own such killing machines. Sorry to swing this back on topic.
  22. I did say that we need protection from ourselves, didn't I? lol.
