  1. or you could do what the previous owners of mine did (family friends for years mind you...) Take a big sheet of sheet metal, and put it over the back seat metal, then screw it down and paint it up, to hide the fist-sized holes! O_o
  2. well, im lost.. but ill spend a bit tomorrow deciphering all of your language! thanks for the help...hopefully
  3. well, i know that the brakes are getting a bit old (it pulls to the left when slowing down ) could this have something to do with it?
  4. So im testing all my functions of my pathy today, and getting it out in the sun (75 degrees today!) And i realized that the ebrake doesn't work! I pull up on it and the light comes on, but it doesn't effect the vehicle. I tried from a dead stop with the ebrake on, and putting it in drive, to a roll and pulling on it slowly. It feels almost as if it doesn't have any sort of tension... Anyone know alot about this function and where to look for issues?
  5. AFAIK That could be your issue..... From what i know about a panhard bar, the way it is mounted, and without a proper dropbracket, it would end up pulling up on the drivers side possibly, but thats why they make brackets so you can lower it down, and get the proper angle... just my .0000001 and if you still have the issue after putting the bracket on, and its not too much (say .5-1.5") you could probably fix it with some simple spacers Heres a diagram i found online, i guess it could result in your issue, but now that i look at it im not so sure http://www.sonoransteel.com/panhard.gif
  6. thats the kind of thing i DREAM of! Imagine being in a movie, and everything is pitch black. Then here comes a wd21 down the road lighting it up every which way! A moment for the story books!
  7. Yeah, i sure hope so.... If not, ill probably just go buy a new hood, and have it repainted by a smaller place... Thanks for your help guys
  8. Well, im not too good with that kind of stuff, and technically its my ma's car, so she says if im going to do it, that she wants it done RIGHT, so that it can't be used against her if she sells it after i leave... Well, ima go this weekend to get some quotes from local places, and try to see if the local yard has a hood Who knows, this may be my chance to paint it BLACK
  9. Well, the issue is that whenever something gets scraped or bumped on my malibu, it rusts <_< Small scrape form previous owner on rear Q panel....big rust patch opened up last week Im looking at a replacement hood, because i can't suction it out, as its a 3 stage dent, One spot where it was pulled down with whatever hit me, the spot closer in that is a 2" depression from normal, but fairly thin, and then the epicenter where it is DEEP and down to the bare metal.... Off to the yard i go i guess
  10. Sorry to bug you guys again, but i have bad news... My malibu (daily driver) was owned tonight...got out of jazz rehearsal and BAM giant scrape (down to metal) on my hood. I think someone backed into me. Or went forward onto my hood, idk.... All i can find online is how to bump out big pushed in fenders and such, but my hood has two layers, so i can't get under it to knock it back out... Ideas? http://i41.tinypic.com/34sj9c9.jpg Yeah, i called the cops and everything, and they can't do jack cause insurance won't cover it, and whoever did it drove off... so its a no-win
  11. im not too sure personally about it... but if your looking to find out, go to pioneer quick lube site, you can pull up an entire list of all the filters that fit your truck
  12. i saw a guy on the road yesterday that had his KC's flipped down backwards, probably to fix that same issue
  13. Google Yakima, thats from what i can figure is the best option for ppl w/o factory, and don't want to drill holes and such. But search is your friend EDIT-- I forgot about the other common company, Thule
  14. I just did alot of research and such, and compiled a parts list http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=21371 if you can make sense of my gibberish, thats a good list of upgrades
  15. yeah, i wasn't too sure about the linked one, it looked too small, but ill def look into a smittybuilt thanks again
  16. http://www.quadratec.com/products/12060_202_07.htm Who thinks this would fit? And if so, how much stuff would i hafta do?
  17. Yeah, im in that same boat, but it seems like a good deal for the $130 AC, if you go that route give me a scoop
  18. Found it! So the rears DO fit , so when the time comes ill probably buy the entire kit, cause the lowest i could find for a full set of shocks was 160 (calmini), and that would make the UCA's on this one come out to less than 200
  19. I just google image'd that, and yep, i guess it is So one of my cars is missing it Thanks again Edit to your Edit- It is probably off the saturn that my sis just wrecked, we had it hauled away the other day (she was hit directly on the rear driver wheel, so that would account for the damage) Probably around 3" long
  20. I found this laying in my driveway today, im fairly certain its off one of my cars but i have NO idea what it is! Any clues? http://i42.tinypic.com/14tadkp.jpg fyi- The middle piece seems like a stop of some sort, cause its a hard rubber material
  21. I think its still just the treads on your tires
  22. yeah, i saw that they said the fronts will fit, but i couldn't find anyone saying whether they fit the rears
  23. one last Q Has anyone bought the entire kit off http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/nissan_early.htm kit # 805H and if so, did all four shocks work? cause that would end up saving me $$
  24. Yeah, its never been sprayed underneath to my knowledge, but i rubbed some off on the other side's frame, and from what i could tell it was in great condition, but until i get it cleaned and do a thorough checkover, idk how bad
  25. Ive read all the topics on rust repair and such, with the POR15 paint or whatever, but im looking for a more specific 'how to' for my rust I sadly discovered a rust hole while checking for them on my pathy....sad sad day So should i remove all the thinned metal? and then try to stop it from spreading? Ill be able to get a better idea of rust damage once its warm enough to get it sprayed, and then install my BL Pics of rear http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff86/ks...oy/DSC_0483.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff86/ks...oy/DSC_0485.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff86/ks...oy/DSC_0508.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/ff86/ks...oy/DSC_0514.jpg
