  1. I use full synthetic in my diff and I noticed an mild improvement in off road situations but the LSD on these rigs are pathetic regardless unless you repack the clutch.

  2. The only 80w-90 I found with limited slip additive was the Valvoline semi synthetic. You can always get additive and add it to any gear oil you want. Nissan may even sell bottles of the additive, I know Ford does.

  3. I don’t think that’s a good idea man. What if it works and collects all that normal wear but then gets knocked off and sends it all at once into the transmission? The filter is just a screen and won’t catch that fine stuff that gets built up on the magnet. An easier solution might be to ditch the magnet altogether and just install an inline filter like some guys around here have done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. I've read that the clutches in the limited slip don't grab properly with synthetic lube. I have no way to confirm this, but will probably use conventional oil when I get around to it.

  5. Dear All, Long time without posting.... Well, I want to share the new tpms system I've installed on the pathy. The previous one had a non replaceable battery on the sensors, so when they all finally died all the sensors went useless. Here is the previous installation link: TPMS V1.0 I found a tmps system, that can be mounted and have the dimensions of the switches that are not used on the dashboard... and the batteries of the sensors can be repleaced! take a look:

  6. Testing continues and the visors continue to pass with flying colors. Here's a little photo to demonstrate the amount of rain we had last night. Pay attention to the amount of rain in the gutter and on the sidewalk. It poured all night and morning and the inside is cool and dry.

  7. It rained last night, off and on today, and we had thunderstorms this evening. I just went and checked and everything is bone dry! I left all four windows cracked to where they just barely were covered by the bottom of the visor. Success all around!

  8. Holy crap TowndawgR50 , that picture looks awesome. I am leaning toward these rims and use some 1/4" spacers. Although I hate the idea of spacers, 1/4" spacers with slightly longer studs doesn't scare me too bad. At this width they are just big flat washers. Looks like the Summit warehouse has wheel studs that are 12mm longer in stock, too. There is something about the big spokes and factory-ness of the wheel that makes me O.C.D. not burn so badly.
