  1. Today: Searched for some fog and turnê lights.
  2. Yesterday, at 55 mph, it hit 200 F for a while, then dropped to 185 F. Could it be that the radiator is clogged?
  3. Yesterday: Left the truck with someone who knows how to build a custom winch bumper. I don't.
  4. A bit past due, but on Sunday I replaced the new headlights switch with the old one. The old one started failing and had been repaired two years ago, but I'd already bought a new one. Luckily I kept the old, because the newer started to fail, dash and tail lights aren't turning on anymore.
  5. Started to rebuild the tranny... Not me, the shop...
  6. Do you have the glove box? If not, maybe that's for it. What colors are the wires? According to the 94 manual, they're pink/blue and black.
  7. Nope. No tries :-) A tranny shop will do the work, I don't havê the equipamentos nor the knowledge for it. Since around here all VG33 Pathys are pre-01, and all XTerras are MT with a diesel 2.8 engine, I guess the best option for me is to keep my original transmission and bet in a careful rebuild.
  8. Oh Those I've seen are from VQ35 Pathfinders. But all of them are RE4R01A too, 4x4. I thought that we had 01+ Pathys with either VG33 or VQ35 in Brazil, but after doing some search, it looks like they're all VQ35. Don't the 01+ Pathys are all VQ35 in USA also?
  9. I've got a chance to buy transmissions from 3.5 Pathfinders, I've found from 2002, 2003 and 2004. They're all RE4R01A, but the 03 & 04 code is 4EX75, and the 02 is different. I am tempted to get the one from the 2004, but I'm still in doubt.
  10. Killed the battery, I forgot my Yaezu radio turned on all week long...
  11. Does it have to be from a 01+ VQ35, 01+ VG33, or any of them?
  12. I've welded and installed it. But the left side of the brush guard is a little bit bent. As I want to put a winch plate on it, there will be a small gap, and one more week point. Now I have to decide what to do: - Buy another from a junkyard (I've found one but they asked about US$ 180) - Have someone cut custom new brush guard sides - Build a winch bumper I know a winch bumper would be the best option. But I like the look of the original brush guard.
  13. Started (again) trying to fix the steering wheel column cover. This time I'm using fiberglass. Work in progress.
  14. I'm thinking about welding a tab right over the original one on the brush guard, and using this to mount it to the bracket.
  15. Replaced old & torn homemade body lift liners with new ones. This time I've used 1mm rubber mat instead of 1.6mm, it's easier to cut and result is the same. I guess it will last another 5 years or more.
  16. Trying to mount a JY brush guard on my Pathy I've noticed that it stands higher from the bumper than expected. I've compared to many images from 93-95 WD21's and they all seem to connect to the lower part of the plastic grid, while in mine the bumper tab and the hole in the brackets are higher. Mine is a 94. ALAIK, there shouldn't be any difference. Am I correct?
  17. I had two washers on mine but it wasn't working anymore. Then I cut a strip of rubber mat and wrapped it around the striker, fixed with some glue for rubber. Now the lights doesn't flicker, and closing the rear hatch is much softer than ever, without that hard iron-to-iron sound.
  18. Fixed the rear hatch sensor/flickering lights issue. The washers wasn't working anymore. A strip of 1mm rubber mat around the striker and some glue for rubber fixed it. Now it sounds much more soft when closing the door and the lights don't blink even in the worst road.
  19. Cut an inch of the fender flares. They were rubbing a lot in closed turns
  20. Plastic welded the steering wheel column cover. Hope it works.
  21. Late reply. Sorry. I've got some images, I'm gonna get them and write it up.
