Well... the diff is back all nicely welded up. No more spider gears!

heh..those welds dont look to pretty...but as par for normal welding...it dont have to be pretty for it to work.....

so, you have 2 thirds, right? the LSD that was in the truck, then the open, now locked diff going into your truck. right?

he just welded up his differential spider gears.

 

it is sometimes called a lincoln locker because of the brand name of welder "Lincoln"

 

so i dont kno if he has any other diffs, because he dropped the one he was runnin out of his truck, and got that welded up....

Yea.... it's the diff outta my truck that got welded up. I have no spares, but i'll be looking for an good price on an axle. I am not worried as junkyards are full of older pathies here. Anything blows and I'll have a new set within a the day if necessary.
