Australia put Japan under pressure at the latest minutes and in less than 10 minutes "has made" 3 goals (sorry, I don't know the right verb... did 3 goals, make 3 goals, whatever...) 94extreme Posted June 13, 2006 Author Share Posted June 13, 2006 Yep, Czechs has shown why they're #2 in FIFA's ranking... By the way, according to that ranking, USA is #5... should play like that... No offense, but... I don't believe in rankings I don't believe that much in Italy, but it's used to surrender... that's what happened in 1982, Italy wasn't playing that good, Brazil had one of the best teams of his history, and then... Italy 3x2, thanks to Paolo Rossi... he was playing a @!*%, but in the last 3 matches he leaded Italy to be the world champion being the top scorer with 6 goals achieved in those matches. At that world cup (Spain 82) me and a lot of friends used to get together to see each match, and also have dinner together (just after the game), and the menu used to be a typical food of the country who was playing against Brazil... Nobody ate that pasta... wow, can't believe you remember paolo rossi.. he was definitely one of my favs.. i lived then in italy and he was everywhere.. :cool2: btw. i watched the italia v. ghana match today and i'll tell you now that USA may not win even one game.. ghana looked surprisingly strong.. they are fast and they were really trying hard to get one behind italy's goalie.. italy, even though they didn't look super are very superb in ball handling and control.. they love the little quick plays just as one would think that they look lathargic.. and are next for USA.. a draw would be lucky.. Croatia is a good team, brazil must take care and play seriously. Anyway, favourites just matter out of the stadium. When the ball begins to roll, who is playing best win... well, sometimes But I hope that whathever the final score, both Brazil and Croatia will do a good match. The game was hard, maybe a bit nervous. Croatia lost some chances too. Ronaldinho had some difficulty to escape from the Croatia defensors. Ronaldo is kinda fat, didn't play much.
