Power DOor Lock ISSUE

Hey everyone,

 

For some time I've been noticing that when I press the unlock button on the remote the door lock doesn't open until the button is re-pressed and then its unlocked. I don't think its major problem but I would appreciate your take on it.

 

In the event that I have to disassemble the door what should I expect.

I would not suspect anything in the door, so should be no need to open it up.

 

Is it still under warranty, being a 03? If so, take the truck back and get Nissan to fix it.

 

First, I would try replacing the battery in the remote.

 

And do all the remotes do this? Or just one?

 

Mine is set up so that one click unlocks the drivers door only, two clicks get the rest. I just assumed you were talking about issues with opening the drivers door and needing two clicks.

on my remote 2 clicks opens the drivers door, 2 more clicks a second later opens the rest.

thats how mine was set up on my 97. i would just take it to a dealer if its still under warrenty (replace battery though first)
