I havent been paying any attention to this thread because I felt what i posted seemed normal too. So i didnt feel that I had a problem. I didnt even think about it locking! Im positive that is what it is doing!

i also had another question. when im crusing at about 40 mph in whatever gear and just step off the gas completly the pathy seems to jerk a little bit. but when i gently let off the gas it seems normal what could cause this?

Doesn't sound abnormal to me. You're basically going from open-throttle, then immediately slamming the throttle plate closed. The drivetrain is just reacting to this instantaneous change in power delivery.
