98path Posted May 5, 2006 Share Posted May 5, 2006 Hi guys I was thinking about putting a wire directly from the batt to my dist through a relay from switched off the key will this put too many volts to the dist and kill it or is there a possibility that it might run better with true battery power getting to the ignition thanks guys 98path Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

turbopath Posted May 8, 2006 Share Posted May 8, 2006 (edited) why not just have your relay switched by the factory power wire to the coil.... that way you won't get a SES light and it will turn on and off like it supposed to.
