truck is all over the place

Hey

I put in my 4 inch trailmaster lift and got it aligened. It drives like @!*% now wanders all over can't let go of the steering wheel cause it will take off in any direction it feels like. I think the alignment is done wrong any other ideas?

check your CL, IA, PA, TRE's and BJ's, one of those has to be going south

Hmmm. Sounds like the alignment is not right. It shouldn't drift that easily, even with a lift kit. Do you have a steering stabilizer installed? Did you go up on tire size immediately after lifting it?

nope running the same wheels and tires as before the lift and no stabilizer although there looks like there is bracket for one. I really think it's the alignment

Yeah have the alignment checked again... popular opinion is that most shops can't seem to do a Nissan Truck alingment correctly

Pbobably alignment, but you migh go over and recheck all the lift components, make sure all the bolts are properly tightened, etc.

mine did the same thing but i don't have sway bars.. but i also that it was the alignment but the engine died before i was able to fix it.

 

i should have it back this week but i have a broken leg in a cast.. so it's not like i can drive it now n e ways

 

woh, diddn't mean to steal the thread but let me know if u find out if it was the alignment or not.
