Does anyone know if a bumper from a hardbody (what year?) would be a direct bolt on swap with a 91 pathy bumper? I need to pull a small boat trailer around and the pathy bumper don't have the hole for the trailer hitch.

I don't think it is. I'd have to look to be sure, though.

get a proper hitch. a bumper is not a good thing to be towing anything with.

The thing only weighs about 200 lbs and would be used maybe twice a year.

I agree with mz and say that there's a good chance you'd regret not doing it. A Draw-tite class II runs about $100 and class III-IV about $150; easy to install and well worth the investment - IMO.

I think I paid like $130 for my class 3 at U-Haul. If nothing else it makes a nice guard for the gas tank .

There is a Uhaul class III at my local junkyard on a pathy, I could probably get that pretty cheap...Thanks guys!

yes a hardbody bumper will bolt on. you'll have to shorten the rear frame rails to clear it, use an angle grinder and 10 mins of your time
