Since it took the mechanic 2 whole days to fix my clutch I get to pick it up when I get back to Cheney. I hope the $950 he quoted me is accurate. :contract:

I just can't wait to see what a difference a new clutch assembly makes. I think its been failing for a while now. Maybe I'm not as good a driver as I thought...

Oh well. Snows-a-comin and its time to enjoy the 4X4 again. B)

Don't worry, I'll go easy on her.

The way I see it. The dirtier the better. And (as I learned from a former SAS member) if you keep your car dirty its easier to see if anyone's messed with it. 'Course he was worried about the IRA, but still, its a good idea nonetheless. B)

Hey, I forgot to reply to this. Thanks for the call Casey.T :aok:

Yes I got her back. My folks' account is 975 bucks lighter but my Pathy drives like new :) Thanks Mom & Dad

I had a heck of a time gettting her started today. The first time it was *click*. I thought oh sh*t, dead battery. The second time it was a soft sound of a small electric motor so I opend the hood (like I could tell if anything was wrong) and tried it again and it fired right up. It has been fine since then. Wierd science.

BTW, anyone replaced the bulbs behind the heater controls? Mine is in blackout mode.

Congrats on taking your pathy back!)))

I have the same problem now (I mean the heater controls)

Think I will get to it this weekend.

It's probably the same as with the dashboard: I just took it out and replaced the lamps in places where the dashboard was dark.
