nick1716 Posted November 1, 2005 Share Posted November 1, 2005 so img onna make my own bumper sometime this weekend or so but i have some problems.. the intake box yea i can rip that out but theres the air temp. sensor i took it off and my check engine light came on, do i need it? is it bad if i dont have it? andi dont want that hole that goes straight to the filter so im gonna use a stock 4runner box i believe. its more enclosed Another question is the washer fluid resorvoir.. its huge! any suggestions on a smaller one i may be able to mount in my engine bay somewhere? XPLORx4 Posted November 1, 2005 Share Posted November 1, 2005 Regarding the IAT sensor, just pull it out of the intake box and relocate it to someplace near the actual intake location. You might need to reroute the wiring connector a little. My IAT sensor is just sort of dangling nearby my JWT pop charger. The IAT sensor doesn't affect engine operation. It's just used for OBDII diagnostics, and will throw a DTC if it's disconnected. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
