Filthy Luker
Why don't you use a razor or something and cut down the stock ones if you really need to. Besides don't you like your CV joints and downtravel?
MaritimeMan
I just ordered a set from summit on Monday, and they arrived toady. And to make it even better, they tossed in a free summit racing hat. I guess I was the lucky winner, or I have finally ordered enough stuff from them to warrent a freebie. MiSh
Besides don't you like your CV joints and downtravel? what do u mean by taht??? Will it effect your CVs if you shave them????
Filthy Luker
Well if by your question you mean "what do you mean by that?", then simply look at what your CV looks like, and think how nicely it would explode when you get them to bind under power. Pezzy
Must you be so difficult Luker... ?? wanna dumb it down for those of us who dont understand what it will do to the truck?
madhatter_xe
any front-end suspension lift you do to your truck is going to increase the stress that your CV joints have to deal with. CV joints are weaker at higher operating angles You have to ask yourself; Is the accelerated wear on your CV's worth the added mobility? They should start to click or slip before they explode.
