really? Because when I bought my 97 there was no light behind it, and I got annoyed and took it apart looking for a bulb, found one, and broke the whole switch.. Bought a new one (30 bucks from the stealership) and it was lit..

yea, I don't know if they all burned out real quick, but when I tore mine apart there was a bulb there, but it definately was not working. The new one still lights up and I've had it for a year now.

headlights only. I was hoping it would flash when it was on, but alas, it does not.

If you are tech savvy you could probably pull it apart and replace the little bulb. I tried to do this sitting in the car in my school parking lot, didnt work so well.
