LOL, I knew that was comming !! Do you know how to drive a stick ?? Your toys are all auto's aren't they ?? :P Not too comfortable with your manhood and choice of drive train, are you ?? ;):D

 

The other thought I had was just to hire a friend to drive out with me and fly them back.... Still, one interview is tomorrow, so it's not like anything is nailed down...

Yes, Slick, I did think of you as a possibility. Just figured I wait to see if they offer and I accept the job first... ;) Thanks for the offer though, I really want to get the hell out of here so I'm looking for jobs in other states. Just applied at a company in the Portland Or area so maybe Aaron and I get to hang out, break and fix our trucks together... :P I'm really hoping for the Oregon or New Mexico jobs... we'll see I'm good for another $10k unemployment so I can wait a bit.

Trust me, I'd like that job and area !! New Mexico is the better job though, but it would take a year or so for the government union position if it even works out. Patience, Oh Hairy one... Patience... ;)

Thought I'd throw my 0.02 in here

 

I towed my 93 back from Rotarua (800km) using an A-frame (Flat tow to you guys)

Auto and didn't disconnect the drive shafts. Put the T-case in neutral.

After 100km or so I reached under the truck and felt something warm....SHOOT, oh well the auto will be shot by now so I carried on. Got down the road a bit and thought "It was the T-case I felt, dumbass"

Got out again and sure enough, auto pan was cold :lol:

Auto still seems good now :aok:
