02silverpathy
Vengeful, did you ever get pics of the damage...i am really interested to better understand what on our uni-bods gave up first...of course seeing how phatty the shop fixes it is just a bonus. Way to go for picking the right insurance company. - I don't even know how much the damage must cost but i am truly still picking up my teeth and jaw, hearing that they are letting a customer off free and clear...i can get outta tickets but other assorted incidents me luck not so good. Congrats on the challenging probability and winning!!! Edited July 21, 2005 by 98silverpathy
vengeful
Well, I am responsible for the deductible, but that's ok as long as my rates stay the same...haha. The damage only came out to $1800. All they had to do was disassmble the front end, cut off the apron and weld a new one on.
Precise1
Thats all... I hope that was a deep hole you fell in, or I'm not terribly impressed with the ruggedness of the R50 (note that its conditional... ) B

vengeful
It was about 3' deep, and I had popped up out of it almost straight up, and when my back tires hit the back edge of the hole, it snapped the front end down to the ground with the fury of 10,000 hungry tigers. Then the front end bounced back up into the air about 4'. It wasn't the hole that broke it...it was being snapped down to the ground after the hole that broke it. k9sar
I covered my deductable by "renting" a car from my parents. They have a spare so I hit the insurance company for my $20 per day and had them pay it to my parents. Of course, as soon as they got the check and cashed it, they gave the money to me. Gotta love loopholes.
Precise1
Ok, I get it now Vengeful... I see how that would happen. Wasn't ripping on the R50 or anything... B
