edta1
Hi, I've been following this forum for a while now but I've got some super newb question to ask about lift kits and suspensions . I think my shocks are getting worn (clunking, all the bushings are fine, lots of vibrations when on the expressways). So if I'm going to replace my shocks, I want to raise my vehicle about 2-3 inches. How do i do it? I have heard the term body lift kit floating around, then I heard people raising their cars with suspensions. Is one better than the other? Which kit can be done by a DIY in their own garage? Thanks!
Trainman
Hope this helps a bit: As you have a 01 (no frame) you can not do the "body" lift :sniff: All you can do is modify the suspension. Go here for another response to the same sort of question. Hope this helps Good luck.
firstpathy
body lift just lifts the body...... not hard to understand... anyways, if you got the cash get a suspension lift better clearance and overall nicer look IMO
88pathoffroad
Um, no body lifts for a Unibody vehicle. Just suspension lifts.
edta1
Awesome! Are these DIY jobs? What should I look for when choosing new suspension parts? How much is all this going to set me back?!?
statikuz
you should probably search for that before the wrath of everyone comes crashing down on you. =D if i had a buck for every time someone asked a lift question that had already been answered i'd have like at least $100. =D
