Body Lift? or longer suspensions?

Hi,

I've been following this forum for a while now but I've got some super newb question to ask about lift kits and suspensions :hide: .

I think my shocks are getting worn (clunking, all the bushings are fine, lots of vibrations when on the expressways). So if I'm going to replace my shocks, I want to raise my vehicle about 2-3 inches. How do i do it? I have heard the term body lift kit floating around, then I heard people raising their cars with suspensions. Is one better than the other? Which kit can be done by a DIY in their own garage?

Thanks! :aok:

Hope this helps a bit: As you have a 01 (no frame) you can not do the "body" lift :sniff:

All you can do is modify the suspension. Go here for another response to the same sort of question.

Hope this helps

Good luck.

  • 2 weeks later...

you should probably search for that before the wrath of everyone comes crashing down on you. =D if i had a buck for every time someone asked a lift question that had already been answered i'd have like at least $100. =D
