ac leaking on 93

my 93 Pathfinder has a leaking ac. I've tried several attempts at recharging with r-134a, it was cold for a little bit but then it smelt like shrimp in the car and eventually the compressors shuts off again. I've tried stop leak and even super seal stop leak and yet it's still leaking. It's smells as if it's leaking under the dash. Any Ideas?

Could be a leak in the evaporator, mine sprung a leak one day and I got a blast of refrigerant out of the vents.

Next time you recharge the system put some dye in the refrig oil. This is the acid test for a fugitive freon leak(s). The stuff I used last was a chartrouse color. sly
