KILLVOX
My engin light came on so i checked the ecu and got an error code 45. Can any one tell me what i need to do? Thanks!!! :help:
k9sar
I added an injector cleaner to my gas and did a lot of full-on/off cycling of the injectors by stomping on the gas then letting off clomletely. After my tank of gas and rough driving, I reset the ECU and the code did not return.
jj big shoe
If you would like to try k9sar's suggestion, the best fuel system cleaner I've used by far is made by BG called 44K. It comes in a small (8oz?) black can with a big yellow or white "44K" down the front. It's about $22.00, but it beats the pants off the other STP Gas Treatment type products. GrimGreg
Seafoam is pretty good cleaner. STP will actually etch parts if used in too high of concentration or too frequently.
Precise1
I can recommend redline injector cleaner also... B

abomb1
I used Seafoam in mine, I've only heard good things about it. But that didn't solve my problem and I ended up having to replace the injectors to get rid of the code.
KILLVOX
Well i ran engin cleaner through it and i still get the erorr code and my engin light is still on. are there scensors for the injectors or is it a sure bet that it is infact the one of the injectors that is bad. Thanks in advance.
88pathoffroad
Did you reset the ECU yet?
KILLVOX
I think i did it right. in your instructions i believe it said to turn the ignision on but dont start the engin, turn the switch to diagnotics then back to on, and turn the ignision off. is that correct. thanks
abomb1
If you do end up needing injectors, check here. I bought mine there for WAY less than I could find anywhere else. Excellent customer service and the error code was gone after replacing them all. I would recommend not just replacing the 1 or 2 that are bad. I tried that the first time only to have more start leaking not long after. If you are paying to have them installed it is much cheaper to just get them all done at once.
