McFalconPunch
Looks good! I've been on the fence about wheel spacers but this may have convinced me.
Gusthebus
I wasn't totally thrilled with the idea of using them(safety reasons), but I had more important things to spend money on than new wheels. I was very meticulous about mounting them. I haven't driven it much since I'm waiting to get the tires/alignment done. The front spacers definitely made the bad wheel bearings more noticeable. I'll be doing the wheel bearings and control arms/ ball joints tonight and hopefully tires and alignment tomorrow. I'll let you know how they perform after I get some miles on em. I do like the look of the stance much better now.
Gusthebus
Weeks later, I finally have 4 matching tires! Lift and tires...done. Now on to the engine. Timing belt, water pump, belts, idler pulleys, hoses, seals, etc...
01Pathmaker
Looking good! Curious about your decision to remove the fender flares, was it because of a rubbing issue, or just personal preference?

Gusthebus
I did it more out of curiosity than anything else. I liked the "visual lift" but the tires were about 3" outside the fenders. That and the retention clips in the fenders are ugly as sin. I have since put them back on. They don't really extend past the fenders much. As you can see, it still throws mud a little bit. They don't create any clearance issues with my set up, but I have had to do some bumper cutting and fender well reconstructive surgery. Still have a small rub at lock in reverse. Nothing a heat gun won't remedy.
Bunchie
Hey Ryan, the green beasty is looking good...almost as good lookin as MY green beasty-lol. Curious, are your roof racks aftermarket? They don't look like my stock ones. Opinion has it that the stock cross supports aren't very strong, especially if you want to put a "supplies" rack up there. Id post a pic of mine but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it on my tablet without it saying frustrating things like "ur file is too big"...but then that's what ALL the girls say, Bwahahahahaha
Gusthebus
As far as I know everything is stock. The previous owner was the original buyer, and he didn't change anything. Even took it to the Nissan dealership for oil changes. I've only used it for kayaks and a canoe. Held up fine for light stuff. I'll be eliminating the cross bars when I mount a rack. I prefer a low profile.
Gusthebus
UPDATE After fighting with a persistent wheel bearing issue I decided to eliminate the wheel spacers to reduce stress on the front geometry. Went with the Vision HD 84 D Window wheels. 16x8 4.00 backspace works perfectly with the 265/75R16 Falken tires. Good stance, all the clearance and no rub! I opted to get a 5th rim and tire to have a spare that matches the rest...which lead to a need to get a new spare location. Introduce the Rola and a ratchet strap. The rack and tire mounts are both temporary. this weekend I'm gonna low-pro mount the rack and try to fab a solid tire mount(can't see spending $100 for a prefabed mount).
mjotrainbrain
You'll want to use a picture hosting site other than Photobucket. I suggest postimage.org but that aside it sounds like you've made good progress, just wish I could see the pics!

Saturn
Nice clean truck! How do you like those wildpeaks? I'm looking at getting a set, just haven't heard many first-hand accounts, and none from pathy owners.
Gusthebus
They have done very well so far. Most of my mileage is on streets...varying from some highway, in town and back country roads. They perform well on all surfaces. A little tire hum but nothing excessive. They out performed my expectations in the snow. I tried to make this thing slide on blacktop with 2" of wet snow and it acted like the snow was sticky! Deeper snow wasn't an issue either. I'm guessing that doesn't concern you being in Jax though. With my rig being 2WD I don't push the limits much when it comes to off-road. Mostly trail and camp roads. That said traction isn't a problem. The treads clean out well and don't tend to pack unless you get into clay( careful around Middleburg). I don't have any up here so no idea how they'll handle the sugar sand. I didn't have these tires when I lived out at Jax Beach.
