Anyone tried out Goodyear Wrangler MTRs? My buddy has them on his older Cherokee and they work quite well. Anyone think 30x9.5 (too small?) or 31x10.5 would do well compared to something like BFG ATs?

I've seen many guys around here with Goodyear Wrangler MTRs in theur cars, mine has Wrangler ATS, they would be the MTRs if I had choosen correctly an year ago, but I was afraid they would be too noisy. It seems to me that the Wrangler MTRs are better than BFGs AT. More muddy. ;)

The MTR's seem to be more of a comparison to the BFG M/T's or any other mudder than to the BFG All Terrains, but they like to charge roughly 25-50% more than the average brand, for seemingly no real advantage. I'd go for equal perfomance while saving a buck to spend elsewhere.

Mr. Pickles I know you have had you BFG MT's for awhile. Do you like them? How do they handle in the rain and how are they for road noise?

I think I may go with a set of them for my next tires. I can't decide on 31's or 32's with a 3" suspension lift. I know you 31's look good with the JGC springs and lift.
