mickmutante
To day I tried to fix my front driver and passenger seat belts.. they were to slow... So I search in the forum for intructions, I found them... And disassemble the seat belt mechanism... put more turs on the "coil" to get more tension... and reassemble... and nothing... Still to slow... Next step... I will try cleaning the belt... And cleaning the "C" ring... Some photos during the disassemble...
Slartibartfast
I found some thick black goopy crap in the top rings on mine. Removing that seemed to help somewhat. I've also heard of spray silicone helping, haven't tried that yet though.
mickmutante
Today I cleaned the "C" ring and washed the belts... I did something similar to this guy... I wash them twice and rinse them 3 or 4 times... Plus.... Re-disassemble the seat belt mechanism... put more turs on the "coil" to get more tension... and reassemble... It worked really well... Now they work like new.! Edited January 8, 2016 by mickmutante

mickmutante
To be honest... I don't remember... I put all the tension that the coils allowed... mickmutante - Gallardo
