GreenMachine96
My name is Mike. After searching and searching for a forum to help in my quest to build a daily driver/weekend warrior, Ive decided to use NPORA! Im not one to jump from forum to forum. Coming from All motor civics(96 ek with/ cr-vtec swap) and entering the dark side for a few years(dsm), Ive decided to try my hand at the R50. So be patient with me and questions I might have. I will search before I asked the typical newbie questions. Im the second owner of this green machine. 86k miles on it when i bought it for $2400. Currently sitting at 97k miles. I did all the basic overhauls stuff and all fluid flushes and changes. I will be doing timing belt change as well as rear trailing arms replacement in about 2 weeks.(i got the wobbles going, lol!!) Then Ill be ready to go. I know its early on the timing belt, but I figured if I have the money, I should get it out the way. Anyhow, Im excited to be on this forum! Now if I only knew how to post a pic for u....cough cough!

maaakaaa
Welcome! Good looking rig. I'm in Longmont. Your truck should last a long time with such low miles and your preventative maintenance.

Mine has over 270k and I don't think particularly careful maintenance so you'll probably make it just fine.

GreenMachine96
I checked my budget and its only gonna allow me to get : Struts/Shocks Strut Spacers Oem bearing and mounts Alignment kit Will I be okay with stock springs(only have 10k miles on them) for level 1 and level 2 trails. ? CO_pathfinder
Yes, Level 1 and 2 trails are pretty easily handled by our trucks. Looks like we've got like 5 of us in Colorado just on this thread that we could get together for a Summer trail ride
GreenMachine96
Thanks for the reply. Is level 3 pushing it? Im sooooo ready to hit a trail or 2 this summer.
CO_pathfinder
Level 3 might cause some issues. My truck is in stock form too right now, I've got some issues i need to fix before doing anything strenuous
FriedEGs
Nice ride, I like the color.. Actually, yours is a different green compared to mine. Mine is more of an army green. Edited March 17, 2015 by FriedEGs
