deadline
My name is Monty. I live in Riverside, California. USA Picked up a 1993 pathfinder last month. Manual transmission, 4WD. The color is Charcoal Pearl I believe? With the chrome wheels, which look much better than the flat ones imo. I think i'm in love I was debating between one of these and a 4runner. I'm glad I went with the pathfinder I plan on going on lots of new adventures with my new ride. Camping, fishing and off-roading to name a few. I can't wait! -Monty Edited June 30, 2014 by deadline
Precise1
Welcome to NPORA Monty! I did the same thing; I was looking at both 4runners and Pathfinders. I didn't like the way the 4runner drove/handled and it seemed like you got a lot more with the Pathy, so I bought one and never regretted it... devonianwalk
I too compared the 4runner against my beloved Pathy. Welcome to our community Monty.
RF600
Good choice going with the pathfinder. The 4runners had some engine problems with the 3.0. You will enjoy it. Not terribly hard to work on, so far anyway. Enjoy.

Slartibartfast
We have whole threads on cupholders! My '95 has little flip-down plastic bits under the center console lid, which hold an Arizona can pretty well but get sketchy for most other things. Nissan made an optional holder that replaced the ash tray, but IIRC the price was ridiculous and the placement wasn't all that good. The best cupholder I've found is a passenger who's not holding anything else. Other than that, people have gone as simple as screwing universal cupholders to the door panels or as custom as hacking in a center console from a different vehicle.
