Hey everyone,

I just picked up a 1999 Pathfinder LE and I am stoked. We had a 91 many years ago and nothing could stop it except a unfilmed jump into a pond. This one will hopefully last a little longer. It has a few things that need to get looked at. It has a squeaky belt, the sunroof doesn't open, the seats dont move, and it used to be a smoker so it needs a good cleaning. Also, apparently it will need a new ball joint but I will have to look into it. I am so pumped because for the past week I have been scouring youtube videos watching these machines crawl over the world.

Can anyone send me in the right direction to check the fuses for the sunroof and seats because I cannot find them or any clues on the old google.

Cheers,

Hopefully will be seeing local BCers out in the bush.

Mark

howdy and welcome

blue2 came from a heavy smoker as well so i feel your sinus pain :P

i used my Bissell Little Green Extractor with a mix of wool cleaner and bicarb in the mix chamber on the seats carpets and head liner it worked well got rid of most of the stains and the stench is mostly gone except on real hot days from the a/c vents

Welcome Mark! The fuses you are looking for might be behind the change drawer on the side of the left of the steering wheel.

Welcome Mark, congrats on the second pathy!

I recommend you go to the Garage section, and download the manual from the pinned thread. That is going to get you started, telling you where the fuses are, maintenance info and all sorts of trouble shooting stuff. Using the advanced search tool can do wonders as well since most things have been addressed in one way or another. Then, when in doubt, post away! ;)

Jeez...thanks for the welcomes great people. I must not have turned on my notifications because I thought my post went untouched. I need to find the electrical guru on the site because I am stumped on what to do next to fix my problem. I have replaced related fuses, fuse-links, and relays and have not had any success in my problem. I would like to pick someones brains for a minute or two and see if I am missing something.

Cheers to sundays in the garage.
