drivers side floor carpet soaked..

im thinking sunroof drains blocked? anyone else ever run into this and if so what did ya so??

not sure about an r50 but when my carpets got soaked, it was due to being rusted through under the carpet and when my AC condensor drain got plugged and all the condensate pooled and sloshed onto the floor

Heater matrix could have died. I know notrhing about r50s but usually you can get creative under the hood and bypass them if they are suspect. Loosing any coolant?

I've had the a/c drain plug up before. It is located under the dash on the passenger side.

Guys, the heater core is on the passenger side, along with the AC drain.

 

Drivers side wet? Yes, I would check your sun roof drains. Unless of course you left it or a window open? Open the sun roof and stand on the drivers side sill. Up top you'll see em. Might have to blow them out or clean em out with long skinny flexible wire.

thanks.. looks like theres only one drain on drivers side.. i blew compressed air thru it ,, see what happens

Thats usually a blocked sunroof drain. Weed eater cable works too.

hello, my roof rack rails were loose. also had wet front seat belts in the door pilars. good luck

Could also be blocked drain hole at the bottom of your inner fender. Open your front doors and have a look at the front base of them, where they meet the bottom front fender. There's a gap down there that has a habit of filling up with mud, sand, sticks and road gravel. You should flush those out every now and then, it's definitely a good idea in the battle against rust.
