ahardb0dy
So I picked up a front and back seat section of carpet from a PF (2wd) at the junkyard last Sunday, today I replaced my old crappy carpet with the pieces I bought, here it is in pictures, the stains in the old carpet were there when I got the truck from my friend, no idea what he was doing !! The pass. front carpet I had cut out long go because it was coming apart, After installing the new/used carpet I took the truck for a drive I can't believe how quiet it is now !! I also did a temp repair over a rust hole I found when I removed the old carpet, And removed the alarm brain and complete wire harness putting the wiring back to pre-alarm state. before pics below: Pass front no carpet: Pass. side of seat: Pass. second row: Dr. side second row: Drivers front: parts removed pass side: parts removed dr. side: rear seat bottoms and front seats and console removed: another view seats and console removed, sorry about the sun: front seats removed showing alarm brain:

Trogdor636
Have you ever Carfaxed it? Any chance its been in a flood from a Hurricane? Those carpets were horrible.....
ahardb0dy
No I haven't, the old carpet looked like, in spots it was exposed to pool chlorine or something, the fibers would come out of the backing if you just ran your hand over the carpet. I'll have to ask my buddy if he knows anything about the previous owner, I did not get any records or anything with it soI have no idea. My buddy probably just used it to carry greasy parts knowinng him, but I don't know. Anyone have access to a carfax search?

Kyle94
My question is: WHy did you "downgrade" to XE carpet? Just wondering.. as i always preferred the SE/LE carpet... as its more plush. Looks better though for sure
ahardb0dy
Thanks, I wasn't looking on the "donor" truck to see if it was an "SE" or "LE" I happened to think the carpet looked good, lot better than what I had and pulled it. Can't be choosy when your getting it from the junkyard !
