SkiBumBrian
Why are mine kinda bowed at a static state? they seem to work fine but if I look at them sitting still they don't look like they are traveling in a linear manner... Any thoughts or am a bone head?
Kyle94
I think mine looked like they were bent when they were installed? I can't remember. Didn't bother me and didn't affect the truck. Still gave it lift. Haha.
Trogdor636
Whatever you pulled it off of was at least 10-15 years old right? You could of got a saggy set, that's part of what I was worried about. When I was gonna do the JGC springs, I was just going to buy the Moogs off Rockauto. No sag worry. RedPath88
I've seen some bow and some not, could be sag causing it, I am not totally sure. But you trimmed the tail off right? So they don't seat true on one end so that would likely cause or contribute to the bow your seeing. Jack it up and turn one of them 180deg, drop it back to the ground and see of it bows the other way, or at least less. It's been a long time since I nstalled mine, but I seem to remember intentionally positioning them so the flexed... forward (I think?) To help counter the suspension geometery that could apply force towards the rear. Or may be it's just to early in the am to think about this, having just getting out of lousy traffic in that forgien stuff called "rain, thunder and lightning. SkiBumBrian
Thanks all. I'm gonna try spinning them 180 to see if it changes anything. I will post after I find anything out....
