Precise1
Posting this for a friend, so Doug says thanks in advance. When he uses the automatic roll up feature on his 2001 Pathy, the front drivers window will go all the way to the top and then roll back down about 4". I have not seen this in action, but he was pretty clear in the message he left. I looked it up and the FSM says to pull the door pannel (good time to look for anything loose, broken, etc) and then... RESET PROCEDURESNABT0029S02After installing parts, proceed as follows:1. Close the door window completely.2. Press the reset switch and open the door window completely.3. Release the reset switch. After making sure the reset switchhas returned to the original position, close the door windowcompletely.4. The limit switch is now reset.CAUTION:Be sure to manually open or close the door window. (Do notuse the automatic open-close procedures.) Makes sense to me and seems pretty straight forward, but does anyone have any experience or input to share? Thanks, B
Alkorahil
I was about to say there is a reset proceedure for the windows. Seems like you found it!
Precise1
Yep! Thanks Bud... I talked to him about it last night and he said he might just take it to a mechanic. My response was "It's your truck, Moneybags..." B
Towncivilian
It takes all of five minutes to remove and replace the door panel, and the button is easily accessible after removal. There is even a pictorial guide on NICO http://forums.nicoclub.com/how-to-remove-door-trim-on-1999-qx4-t445467.html'>here. Maybe that would change his mind? Precise1
I already told him that it looks pretty damn simple to me, but I suspect he is being lazy. No worries, the last thing I do is force my help on someone who doesn't want it... B

Trogdor636
If its not a really close friend, I'm always happy to let them take it to a shop. Less work for me!
