has anyone put aftermarket tweeters in the stock a-pillar tweeter location? curious on what fits or if i have to get stock ones.

I know a guy who got the Pathfinder pillars out of a junkyard to put in his Hardbody, and he put some aftermarket tweeters in. However, I have no idea the brand, just that its possible.

there's a thread in here about the stock tweeters and it was reccomrnded to change the the diode? on the tweeter, I installed the stock ones in my 88 and did the mod.

I also removed the rear side speakers and installed the rear overhead ones

Capacitor actually, 4.7 microfarad according to a post on Nicoclub. Caps block DC current but let AC through, so a small cap in line with the tweeter wiring blocks bass frequencies but lets treble through.
