33" tires on a 2000 pathy

Hey I want to put 33" tires on my pathy. Right now I have 255/65r16 so what would be 33" for me?

255/65R16 is:

255mm (tread width) x 65% (sidewall aspect ratio) * 2 (# of sidewalls) / 25.4mm/inch + 16 (wheel diameter) = 29.05" total tire diameter

 

A 33" tire would be more like a 285/75R16 (32.83") or a 255/85R16 (33.07")

 

However, in order to fit a 33" tire, you generally need wheels with a different offset in order to clear the front strut and a suspension lift to minimize rubbing on the wheelwells, splash guards, etc.

LOL, he also did some major cutting on his fenders. I shudder to think about the massive rubbing he'll have when his rear suspension articulates!

Yea I had these same thoughts he doesn't even have a lift and he's running 33's. I bet a he hits a pot hole and rubs lol
