LSD question

I have done a little searching but havent came up with anything. How can you tell if you have factory LSD? I have a 95 xe. I know on some vehicles they have codes in the glove box that will let you know what you have. Is there anything that will tell you if you have it without taking the cover off? Thanks

Put it Neutral, Jack up the rear end and spin the rear wheel if both wheels spin the same direction you have a LSD...If that makes sense

If they spin the opposite ways you have an open diff so when it turns in a different direction its basically having infinite slip. Also i herd somewhere that if you have lsd it should be hard to move your wheels unless your lsd is broken. I think its something like 70Ft-lb required to be able to move the wheels but i could be wrong.

The easiest way to tell is to look at the back of the rear axle. It should have a radioactive-orange sticker that says 'LSD OIL ONLY.' If it's got that, it's LSD.

 

The other way is to do a burnout on gravel. Two tire marks? LSD. One tire mark? Open.

Thanks for the info guys. I will have to check it in a couple months when I get back from the desert. I was bored so I thought I would get a head start lol.
