White to orange Cluster swap

I've got a 88 300 zx turbo and for some reason i love the orange gauges i know some hate it but i dont mind it.

 

Just wondering has anyone swap and older 87-89 pathfinder gauge cluster into a newer 90-92 pathy.

 

Just wonder if everything will hook up if so i might just grab one from the junkyard and give it a go.

pit amber bulbs in, they will get that orange hue then when lit

yeah the clusters has lots of small changes almost every two years. So may have trouble finding a straight swap.

I saw a guy with a Chevy sand down the translucent paint behind his gauge cluster and respray it another color. A can of candy orange (or like Nunya said, orange LED bulbs) should do the trick. I doubt another dash would bolt straight up.

You can swap the cluster directly but have fun with the wiring.
