New idea on alarm!

So after a while of fighting with my alarm system.. Someone today mentioned it could be in Valet mode.. If so, how would i go about getting it out of it? Coz it flashes while parked, or even when driving.. my door switches and door lock timer check out okay, but my alarm siren is gone (someone removed it) any ideas?

Thanks :D

I just want my remote to work, as its annoying (but looks good on me!) when i have to walk to the passenger side door to unlock the truck..

sometimes you can change the alarm mode with the key in the drivers door lock, you mentioned that you have to unlock it from the passenger side, why? if there is any issue with the alarm circuits it might not do anything, is the driver's side door lock or handle broke in anyway, when i told you it could be in valey mode it was only a guess it may be a alarm malfuntion indicator when it flashed like you say it does, mine only flashed when it armed, i can disarm it with the key in the ignition and auto arms after i close the last door after 30 seconds, the siren missing isnt helping either get any siren and it will work there all the same how they hook up just the sound is different

sorry for my grammer skills lol its a keyboard not a wrench

Grammar isnt an issue :P

Yeah, its a stock alarm

My driver side key tumblers are frozen..the door locks and unlocks fine though. In the passenger door i turn the key twice to unlock all doors, and thats how i end up getting in..

I tried disconnecting the battery..actually its been doing it since i got it the pathy came with a bad battery..

I looked in the FSM and cant find anything about the alarm system..anyone know what color the siren wires are and where they would be?

Thanks guys, i appreciate it!
