The_Magicians_Eye
Here's my ride. 1991 Nissan Pathfinder SE. I'm posting pics from what it looked like when I bought it to what it is today. I picked this up with a bad trans for $500 back in December of 2010. Here's my progress.

The_Magicians_Eye
I had them put a trans cooler in when they rebuilt the trans. However I just put some Pacesetter headers on it and the crossover pipe runs under the trans pan... So yeah that's a problem. I stopped by the store and picked up the biggest trans cooler I could find and some aluminized heat barrier to stick to the trans pan. I'm also planning on running a Thermo Tec heat shield on the crossover pipe. Why PaceSetter did that crap is beyond me. I hope this all works cause if I have to have someone build me a new crossover pipe I'm not going to be too happy. "The Magician's Eye" is the title I always use. I'm a photographer. Kingman
An SE with XE wheels, seats, and steering wheel? Pace Setter headers also have issues with miniature crossover pipe holes where they collect. Like the size of a quarter. So it probably wouldn't be a bad thing if you had a new crossover pipe done up... Truck is looking good man.
devonianwalk
Nice looking rig. I really like your choice of roof rack too. Welcome to NPORA!

I know the speedo was geared for 31" tires. Something tells me they had bigger tires on this and slapped those on it to sell it. The guy I bought it from didn't know anything about it. He got it from his sister-in-law after she junked the trans coming from Colorado. As for the seats and steering wheel???? you got me. Title says SE and so does the rear hatch. Oh and the header don't leak. The crossover doesn't leak ether. The only real problem I have with them is the location of the crossover pipe. I feel like heading down to Pacesetter given that they're local and show them why that's a f-ing stupid idea. The_Magicians_Eye
Nice looking rig. I really like your choice of roof rack too. Welcome to NPORA! Thanks I just built that rack. I'm really happy with how it turned out given that I've never built anything like that before.

The_Magicians_Eye
Welcome to NPORA TME!! Nice truck, good work and good eye. Are those Yokohama geolander ATs I spy?? How do you like them for desert wheeling? PS Don't move to New York. B Yes they are and I love them. No BS I couldn't be happier with them. I was going to buy a set of BFG's AT (I've owned these before on another car) or General Tire's AT and I'm glad I didn't. I think people are sleeping on these tires because they don't know much about them. If you're shopping for an AT tire buy these and give them a try. I'd be shocked if you didn't like them. I work next door to a trail ride adventure company that uses military spec H1s and military spec Chevy Blazers. The guy running the place notices the Geolanders on my Pathy when we were talking and he had nothing but good things to say about them. He said they have them on a few of their trucks and love them. So yeah in my opinion they are a great tire that carry the best price tag on the market. I got my 31's for $119 a piece from a major online tire company. Even after shipping it was way cheaper than any local places could match. I just had one of those ghetto Mexican tire shops in south phoenix mount them for me on trade for some old tires that I had taking up space in my garage. And my move to NY is becoming more difficult than I was hoping for. It's been delay after delay after delay. I'm not happy about it but what can you do? So at this point we're looking at an October move. If that don't pan out then it will have to wait until this time next year
Precise1
If you're shopping for an AT tire buy these and give them a try. I bought a set last year for the wife's 99 Pathy. That's how I spotted them, I recognize the tread pattern... Agreed, they are a great tire at a great price. Well, on road anyway, I haven't wheeled them. As for the move, I was more just razzing you (NO desire to live in ice and snow). Good luck with everything. We moved into our house 2 months ago, a 1 mile move and I still have boxes everywhere and don't know where 1/2 my stuff is. B

B i want to throw everything in the trash and just leave but the woman seems to have a problem with that. She better be careful before she ends out in the trash with everything else lol
nunya
I think If I made that threat I'd be the one on the curb B is just jealous he doesn't have the awsomeness of 4 seasons and road salt. At least in NY you would be closer to some of the awsome western PA dirt tracks for those photography skills.
The_Magicians_Eye
At least in NY you would be closer to some of the awsome western PA dirt tracks for those photography skills. You got that right! Plus the 25 plus tracks in NY that run Big Block Mods. Hopefully there will be some money over there when it comes to shooting. It's a complete waist of time to shoot in AZ. You'd be lucky to cover your fuel with your photo sales out here.

And they show everything from karts and 4 cylinder class too WoO stuff That's very good to hear. That type of racing get's no help from the local media. Well other than Bruce St. James (one of the drivers) he has a radio show in the morning on the biggest talk radio station in the state. He's been using his show and facebook account to promote the races he's in. Outside of that we got nothing other than some underground stuff that only racers know about.
