BigDaddyChris.com
so, my drivers side sun-visor was always falling down in my face. I didnt see anywhere on here, or other places how to fix it, other than replacing it. must be a common problem cause theres no visors in any of the pathys at the junkyard. so today, in a fit of rage I fixed the problem, permanently! #1. let the visor flop down to a vertical position. #2. pop it out of the retainer clip on the ceiling. #3 YANK the sucker straight down. It snaps off the hinge with a satisfying crunch sound. #4 toss it in the back seat. it hasnt flopped in my face since. problem solved!! hope this thread helps
sewebster
Maybe this should be a how-to in the garage section.

MY1PATH
Maybe if you had a roof it wouldn't want to flop as much. LOL
ahardb0dy
I fixed mine in a similar but more civilized way, removed the 3 screws, unplugged the wire connector and tossed it in my shed !! No more problem !!! "satisfying crunch sound." I know that sound !!! That's the sound my gas powered leaf blower made over and over when it pissed me off and I took it from above my head and slammed it into the concrete over and over !! That felt good !! Than my wife is looking out the screen door at me and says "feel better??" I said yes I do, time to go buy a new one !!
