Quick Wheel Questions

Found a dude on CL with some AR Outlaws I want to go snag them tomorrow and replace the legos..$100

 

THey are

6x5 1/2 lug 15x8 1/2 4" BackSpace 4 1/4 center bore offset....???

 

Will these work ideal?

My question is does it matter that the center bore is a little larger than the 100mm on the legos??? Is their such a thing as hub gaskets or rings to place inbetween or is that not necessary. Also, does the offset matter? Is their a quick way to check the offset? Any insight appreciated...thanks p.s. my tires are 31 10 1/2 15

You can get hub centric rings, but I don't know if you need them... I think the actual lug nuts are what do the seating on the lego wheels. If the centre bore was really doing something then I think it would be a tighter fit when you put it on?

the wheels will fit fine, you don't need hub centric rings for our trucks. They are probably 8" wide as I don't remember AR making 8.5" wheels, also if the wheels use lugs with washers they are pretty old as AR changed all their wheels to acorn style lug nuts about 20 years ago.

Outlaw I is the solid ones like I have/ahardb0dy posted also there were a bunch of knock off brands, Outlaw II has round holes IIRC, kinda like some of the older factory Ford truck wheels. Either way they are lugcentric wheels, which MOST legos are. There ARE some occasional legos that have the wHierd hubcentric lugs (like a 90s Toyota 4x wheel). Make sure your not the minority too...

Mine are 15x8s, yea. Got 15x10s on one of our K10 Chevys. I think every wheel company imaginable that makes/made a copy of the II, but a round hole wheel is proably a simple design at the same time.

Sorry for being off topic slightly, I traded these 15 x 8's to a friend's dad for his 88 fore runner:

I've had quite a few wheel and tire combination's on the Hardbody, starting with the factory legos, than the Centerlines with 35's, the bat wheels pictured with a matching but in red wheel for the spare (they were out of black), than the 15 x 10's, a set of 15 x 10 steel outlaw 2 style black centers chrome outers, and just as many tires, Firestone ATX (stock tire), BFG At's. numerous BFG mt's, Kelly safari's (sucked), Yokohama mud diggers (very soft), Bridgestone Mud Duelers, think that was about it, LOL, one of my buddies owned a tire shop, helped to have friends in the business !!
