What is the Pathy Diesel motor designation?

For example, the gas motor is a VG30E, what is the designation for the diesel motor found in European models? I'm toying with the idea of cramming a diesel in her now that I have another daily driver.

the WD21 pathfinder got the TD27 diesel engine in other parts of the world.

Yep, TD27. If your looking at switching to diesel, try to find a QD32 instead, same block as the TD27 but close to 50% more power.

does anyone know what gearbox would go with a qd32? i have the vg30e now but the pathy isn't my DD and i have time to play with it some. btw, i'm in germany so euro engines are a bit easier to come by but finding a transmission with 4x4 and all the engine wires and ecu might be a bit hard since i don't know german
