Replacing the radiator on an R50 VG33E

Need to replace my radiator and need some advice on how to do it. Didn't see a pinned topic on it. Anyone have a PDF file on this or instructions? I was quoted some ridiculous amount of money to have this changed so I figure, buy the radiator for $130.00 and put it in myself.

with engine cold

 

 

remove lower cooling housing

remove rad cap

remove drain in rad or lower hose

remove upper hose

remove overflow tube

remove upper rad mounts

remove rad

install cooling housing to new rad

then reverse the rest of the steps

 

takes like 30 min to do, no technician should charge more than $20-80

Thanks Madhornet. Do you know if there is an upgrade to the original radiator for this rig?

any new radiatior is an upgrade from the original, since they get packed with stuff. but as far as a better radiatior, not really. theres oem and premium replacement, and ive looked at them both, and saw no difference.
